Anti-TRICK2 (DR5, TRAIL-R2) Antibody
Catalog No.: 11092
Size: 100 ug IgG in PBS, pH 7.4, purified by immunoaffinity chroma- tography.
Apoptosis is induced by cytokines in the TNF family through their death domain containing receptors. TRICK2 (TRAIL receptor inducer of cell killing 2) is a member of the TNF receptor family and contains the conserved death domain. TRICK2 is expressed at high levels in lymphocytes and spleen cells and in many types of tumor cells. Overexpression of TRICK2 rapidly induces cell death by apoptosis. TRICK2 has been shown to function as a receptor for TRAIL and can inhibit TRAIL-induced killing of lymphocytic cells. Other names for TRICK2 include DR5, Apo2, TRAIL-R2, and KILLER.

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 309-325 (EHLLEPAEAERSQRRRL, isoform 1) of human TRICK2 precursor conjugated to KLH at the N-terminus. The same sequence is found in isoform 2 at amino acids 280-296.
Host Species: Rabbit
Stabilizers: None Preservatives: None. Available on request.
This antibody recognizes human TRICK2.
Immunoblotting: use at 1:500 dilution. A band of approximately 57 kDa is detected.
Positive control: whole cell lysate from HL60, HeLa, or Jurkat cells.
Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze- thaw cycles.
For in vitro investigational use only. Not for use in therapeutic or diagnostic procedures.
