Human Rheumatoid Factor Monoclonal Antibodies
Catalog No.: 12005
Clone No.: RF2-17.109.2
MAb Subtype: IgG2b
Size: 100ug, 500ug
Format: Protein G purified antibody in PBS, pH 7.4
Antibodies directed against the Fc fragment of immunoglobulin G (IgG) are called rheumatoid factors (RFs). They are heterogenous and are usually IgM antibodies. RFs are used as a marker in individuals with suspected rheumatoid arthritis (RA) or other autoimmune conditions. The normal reference range for RF is less than 15 IU/mL
Antigen: Purified proteins from patients with IgM cryoglobulins.
Host Species: Mouse
Specificity: This antibody reacts with 30% of IgM-RF from unrelated individuals. It does not recognize IgM, IgA, or IgG proteins lacking RF nor with F(ab’)2 fragments.
This antibody has been qualified for use in ELISA to detect human rheumatoid factor.
Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -20°C to -70°C. Store product in appropriate aliquots to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
For in vitro investigational use only. Not for use in therapeutic or diagnostic procedures.
