Neurotrypsin Polyclonal Antibody
Catalog No.: 56500
Size: 50ug peptide immunogen affinity purified antibody in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Neurotrypsin is an extracellular serine protease expressed predominantly in brain and involved in neuronal development and function. Mutations in neurotrypsin are associated with severe mental retardation. Neurotrypsin appears to play a role in activity- dependent remodeling of the synaptic circuitry that is key to adaptive synaptic changes involved in cognitive functions such as learning and memory.
Antigen: Synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH.
Host Species: Rabbit
Preservatives: 0.02% sodium azide
This antibody recognizes an epitope near the amino terminus of human neurotrypsin.
Immunoblotting, Immunohistochemistry: Use at 5ug/ml.
Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.
