Format: Lyophilized at 1mg/ml in PBS.
Neurotrophin-4 (NT-4) is the product of the NTF4 gene and is a member of a family of neurotrophic factors that control survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons. Neurotrophin-4 (NT-4) exerts its effects by binding to neurotrophic tyrosine kinase receptor type 2 (NTRK2; also called TrkB). NT-4 has been shown to play a crucial role in the development of long-term memory and has also been implicated in the regulation of appetite and in body weight control.
Antigen: Recombinant human neurotrophin-4.
Host Species: Mouse
Clone no.: NYRhNT-4
Antibody Class: IgG2a
Gene ID: 4909
Accession no.: P34130
This antibody recognizes human NT-4.
ELISA: use at 0.1-1.0ug/ml with NT-4 on the solid phase. These are recommended concentrations. Endusers should determine optimal concentrations for their applications.
Reconstitute with sterile H2O. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.
