Catalog No.: 2355
Size: 100 ug IgG in 200 ul PBS, pH 7.4, purified by immunoaffinity chroma- tography.
Interleukin-1 (IL-1) and lipopoly- saccharide (LPS) induce cellular responses through IL-1 receptor nad Toll-like receptors. IL-1 receptor- associated kinases (IRAK and IRAK2) mediate the activation of NF-κB by IL-1/Toll receptors, a key step in inflammatory and immune responses. A novel member of the IRAK family, IRAK- M, is a dominant negative mutant of IRAK and inhibits IL-1 or LPS induced NF-κB activation.
Antigen: Peptide corresponding to aa 581-596 of human IRAK-M.
Host Species: Rabbit
Preservatives: 0.02% sodium azide.
This antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat IRAK-M (68 kD). No cross-reactivity with IRAK or IRAK2.
Immunoblotting: use at 1:500-1:1,000 dilution.
Positive control: Tissue lysate from mouse spleen or rat kidney.
Dilute in PBS or medium which is identical to that used in the assay system.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze- thaw cycles.
For in vitro investigational use only. Not for use in therapeutic or diagnostic procedures
