IDH1 R132H Monoclonal Antibody
Catalog No. Clone No. Size
34074 G132.1 100ul
Format: Purified antibody in Tris buffer, pH 7.3-7.7, 1% BSA, <0.1% sodium azide.
Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a soluble, cytosolic enzyme involved in the TCA metabolic cycle. Mutations in this enzyme have frequently been identified in astrocytomas, oligo-dendrogliomas, and oligoastrocytomas as well as in secondary glioblastomas. IDH1 mutations are found much less frequently in primary glioblastomas. The IDH1 mutations are highly specific to a single codon in the conserved and functionally important Arg132 in IDH1.
Antigen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to the region of human IDH1 that includes a point mutation at residue 132 where Arginine (R) is changed to Histidine (H).
Accession No.: O75874
Gene ID: 3417
Antibody subtype: IgG1
Specificity: Human R132H-IDH1. Reactivity with other species has not been investigated.
Immunohistochemistry: use at a dilution of 1:100-1:200 on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded samples after heat-induced epitope retrieval at pH 9 for 10-30 minutes.
Detection of IDH1 R132H in human astrocytoma with #34074 diluted 1:100-1:200.
