Factor V Light Chain Monoclonal Antibody
Catalog No.: 19701 (clone B38)
Format: 250ug Protein G-purified antibody in PBS, pH 7.4
Coagulation cofactor V (Factor V) is a high molecular weight glycoprotein that performs several critical functions in regulating hemostasis. In its thrombin-activated form (FVa) it interacts with Factor Xa and Ca+2 to form the prothrombinase complex. This complex catalyzes the formation of thrombin from prothrombin at rates substantially higher than Factor Xa alone.
Antigen: Purified human Factor V.
Host Species: Mouse
Antibody Class: IgG1
Specificity: This antibody recognizes the F1F2 polypeptide of human Factor Va light chain.
Western blotting: a band of approx. 74kDa is detected.
Dilute in PBS or medium that is identical to that used in the assay system.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
This antibody is stable for at least one (1) year at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
