Matrix Protein/MMP Antibodies

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) are a family of enzymes that degrade most components of the extracelluar matrix during normal tissue maintenance and regeneration. MMPs and their physiological inhibitors, tissue inhibitors of MMPs (TIMPs), are also involved in pathologic cellular processes such as tumor cell invasion and metastasis. QED's antibodies to matrix proteins, MMPs, and TIMPs are extremely useful tools for investigating MMP and TIMP activity in many normal and pathologic conditions. All of these antibodies are available as purified immungolobulin.
