New polyclonal antibody promotes advances in H1N1 research
A useful new tool for identifying key determinants of the H1N1 virus is now available from QED Bioscience, Inc.
"QED is pleased to be able to contribute a new research reagent to worldwide studies of this virus," said Eileen Skaletsky, President of QED.
The Anti-Influenza A Virus (subtype H1N1) Polyclonal Antibody can simultaneously detect hemagglutinin (HA), neuraminidase (NA), and non structural protein (NP). It also reacts with A/New Caledonia/20/99, and A/Brisbane/10/2007. Other isolates of H1N1 have not been evaluated.
"The versatility of this product will deliver significant value to investigators studying the course of infection of the H1N1 virus," Skaletsky said. "This product has delivered proven results and we’re anticipating a strong positive response from our customers."
